We have here the great parable of the Gospel, which often causes us to
stumble: The parable of the sower. The kingdom resembles, the field. The fruit
are the followers of Christ; but the followers of Christ will not always remain
faithful to Him.
In earlier and even in current times there were and are many
martyrs who are persecuted and they readily accept it as a cross for the
greater glory of God. We as Christians ought to bear good fruits so as to
contribute to the vineyard of the Lord.
