GRACIOUS WORDS 31st Jan

As we reflect on today’s Gospel, we realize that the words of Jesus are applicable to each of our lives even today. Jesus’ words are life giving and are sharper than any two edged sword.

Jesus wants us to trust Him completely and believe that whatever we ask for in His name will be granted. No prophet is welcome in his own hometown. We may also have had the same experience in our lives, where people might have rejected us because of our family, caste, language and so on.

He makes all things good, in His time. This is important to realize because God works according to His time knowing what is best for us. He sees everything in sub specie aeternitatis (in the light of eternity).
